fully respect your opinion ... as it's your Multi. and honestly, all those options ... i simply have left the LEDs with the default settings. i like the CANopener option (Clearwater used my 1260s as the test mule to grab the CANBUS codes, and test their CANopener firmware) of not requiring a potentiometer to adjust the brightness of the LEDs ... as i agree, there are already a few too many buttons and switches for my old analog motorcycle taste ;-)

Hi I am very keen to get a set of Rigid Ignites working as you describe (reduced power on low beam and 100% on high beam using only factory switches) on my 2020 1260 Multistrada Enduro. I cannot find the version of Canopener that you refer to on Clearwater's website. Are you using a BMW version?
