Not had much opportunity to post the last couple of days, both full on and very little phone signal. I have no idea where I am other than somewhere in France still heading for Vercour. Andy
Not today, yesterday. Retired Snowhite, the commuter scooter after 10 years of trusty service. And the replacement: A baby Zed Only done about 25 km so far, but real fun in the traffic. Light, nimble and enough power to comfortably play in the traffic. Not a Ducati, I know, but wanted something that was cheaper to maintain. Somehow the Japanese bikes, despite being imports are cheaper and the spare parts way cheaper
Tidied, or more accurately re-ordered all the shite in my garage. Lots of bits off my 916 I need to keep, like forks, shock, subbie, etc etc an old 1198 rad that has a leak that i replaced. (free to anyone who wants it, its going to tip shortly). OEM bits off the 1299. Various monoposto, biposto bits hanging from roof, 916 b/w on coat hangers doing the same. I need a bike lift and better lighting (ongoing). All so i could squeeze in trackway 1299 bodywork. A trip to the tip beckons.
Installed two central heating radiators for a client plus another rideout, but this time with a friend as opposed to solo.....bagging the rides with this weather.
Hi, Sorry I haven't been on here much for the last few months - pressure of work, messages about phishing site popping up all the time and just too much going on! Anyway I need to get the bikes out and about a bit before winter and get up to date with what you have been up to! I taxed the 600ss today. Hope you are all okay
Been an up and down day. Two of the team have covid, we were all in last week so now we won’t be in for q- days just in case. Confirmed bank hol day off next Monday. And managed to slip in a round this evening with new clubs. They are buttery-smooth in feel. Lush.
Took a train to 'that London' for business and will pop over to pay my respects somewhere, not decided where yet.
Went to Pittville Park and chased some wild geese. Unfortunately they all immediately flew away, so I gave up. I like to think I learnt something, though! I did learn that while Sainsbury's had no milk or bread, Tesco had plenty.
Much easier day today, everyone, without exception were feeling the exertions of the last 3 days. Stopped part way through a gorge, and because the road from that point had collapsed, we went down this Going to be raining tomorrow so not planning anything until we see what the weather does. Reached the halfway point, staying here tomorrow night and then heading back. Andy
