  3. I wonder if the sale of extra long jump leads and large crocodile clips have soared?
Have a street light near my shack.

  4. Finally got the new rear tyres that I bought 5 weeks ago fitted on the Vanquish and did a quick visual brake check.

  7. Hmm, I’m beginning to look at cars now, and a new V8 Vantage has popped onto my radar. What are the running costs like on them?

  9. The new one, as in the merc engine?

  11. I’m with Chris Harris on SUV’s. I don’t like them… Despite formerly owning a Macan GTS, I’m with Harris- they’re pointless.

And I see Ferrari have just brought out a £300k SUV ffs. Hopefully they’ll all be shipped to Arab states and we won’t see them…

  12. Ooo that’s nice.

i think for that money I’d look at a nice v12s though if it was me (we are all different).

i find the 80-150k price sector a difficult one as there’s so much good car to be had for the money!

if you’re set on an Aston, what about a vanquish S ?
they fluctuate a bit like everything at the moment but you can get them for less than the vantage above you listed
    (Just an example)

If you want a VH platform v8 Vantage, I honestly wouldn’t bother getting a 2019 car as it’s not radically different to say a 2015 car. You’ll be paying a premium for the year and I reckon probably take a bath on the resale.. maybe.

you can get absolute mint ones a few years older for much less than that ones up for. Although I appreciate it’s an amr special edition but ultimately how much different is it..

As for the merc Aston, they’re a really good car. They’ve not been massively popular as the Aston owners sort of rejected them due to the German side. They sold a lot on pcp deals though, many of which are now flooding the market and crashing the prices (fyi).
