Yes, yes Timmy, but its all a bit boring. Here's a little 13 seconds of video, from the same day, Tuesday 13th.
Yes. I gave myself a seriously talking to after that. God only knows how I stayed on. Now looking for a track bike with traction control
Portimao was mega. Managed 26th fastest out of 160ish people so happy with that. Still a few seconds to knock off with a bit more bravery but I’m happy with not risking a crash too much I think. Focused Event are a shower of shit though, they won’t be having anymore money off me.
1.58.4 was fastest, but probably did 30+ laps consistently in 58’s so happy with the consistency. Optimal 1.57.2.
Feeling sad now the seasons over, here’s a few from my days this year Oulton: Knockhill: Cadwell: Anglesey:
Anything beginning wit a 1 is good round there. I did a 1.59.2, but only broke 2 minutes on the last day. Be interested to hear what the problem was with focused. They've also had my money for the last time after passing me about on a portimao trip in June
Seems a fairly common opinion. FE are sheisters who have little customer interest or care: NL are the ‘corp’ of Trackdays and stack em high and let em go. Only other options are pay more if you want less on track and decent service. Redline did ok when I went with them. The one Android uses. There’s a couple of other smaller ones too.
I've been to jerez the past 2 years with redline, and going again in October. Track time runs very well
Yeah I was happy to be under 2. Where do I start with them… 1. Charge extra for every little thing which is just frustrating when they chase for multiple payments and threaten missing out on the trip due to cutoff times. 2. had a (lovely) woman booking you in but spoke no English so it literally took 2.5 hours of queuing to get sorted with sticker, transponder and insurance. 3. They sell you insurance at the track, but give you no paperwork, policy, insurer details or contact number to back it up, then when someone crashes and you want said insurance for medical care it’s just made up and I wouldn’t class it as legit. Shadiest thing I’ve seen in a while, but I won’t put the full details up on here. 4. You pay an extra £130 for a midlands drop off but they change it last minute so now I’ve got a 6 hour round trip up north to get my bike on Sunday, but still having to pay £130 for the privilege. 5. They change drop off and pick up dates at the drop of a hat, how hard is it to just stick to a date? Personally I think it’s a badly run firm who have rubbish customer service and put any extra charges ahead of looking after what they should expect as repeat customers. Up to them how they do it but they won’t be making anymore cash out of me. Looking forward to sending in my feedback form as soon as I’ve got my bike back in my garage.
There was 9 of us on that trip in garage 26, I had an absolute nightmare. My R1 did a big end on the first lap of day 1 meaning I had to hire one of the FE hire bikes and I ended up binning it on the 3rd session into my first day ♂️
