Heading in a northbound direction in the Nutfield village at 1.30pm ish today when in the opposite carriageway was a 999 / 749 R or S, we both waved at each other. Halfway through the trip i recieved toothache again, straight round to the dentists but they couldn't help me today.........tossers.!, monday at the earliest.
yesterday, i replaced a broken front brake leaver and sourced some black touch up paint. yip, the dumb fuck has dropped his Lexmoto already. Doh. later today i will be doing his run in service. the wee (big) sod has done more miles in a week than i have done this season. dirty rotten lucky barsteward.
Trip to tip. To dump several chains and sprockets, 4 old batteries from 916, 2 fuel cans full of old oil. Old 1198 radiator (holed), and lots of packaging for spares. All of which was cluttering my garage.
They were but if I itemised everything that would be weird. Belts, spark plugs, brake pads were included by a big yellow sainsbury's tray full.
They were but if I itemised everything that would be weird. . why not continue as you mean to go on? chortle.
Didn’t realise it but this attitude came in useful just now. Went for a ride on my bicycle and noticed the rear caliper was rattling - when I got home one of the mounting bolts had fallen out and the other was stripped. Bolts are M4 x 45. Couldn’t find any in my proper motorbike stash so was going to bodge it with tie wraps… Then I remembered I had kept a flat screen tv wall mount box as it had loads of alternative fixings in it for different tellys etc. Bingo! Little baggy with 4 M4 x 60 bolts in it! 2 mins with the hacksaw - sorted.
Had a ride cross country to Brighton. Witnessed a deliveroo cyclist get run over by a car (in the rear mirror). He was riding like a twat, when I went past I sensed something would happen. All the cars stopped, so there were plenty of witnesses to give statements, so I carried on.
Met @cookster, @iamme @brettski and his Mrs at OYB. Interesting to see the stock levels in new bikes. A very nice low mileage gsxr1000 2021 which got my juices flowing. Avoided stupid deer, gravel on corners and other hazards on a brisk ride there and back. Coffee on me next time S. Thank you.
was awesome ride, thank you @cookster for letting me be your wing buddy , lovely to see all, Look forward to it @Expat Jack
