  4. The bike didn’t cost you anything, the least you can do is get an Akra!

Best mod you can do. Maybe this’ll help….

  5. Great story, sounds like you've had a tough time so well deserved!! Missus sounds like a keeper too :p

  6. Sir, your bike is perfection

Is it much louder with the Akra? I’d be worried about being kicked out the village we have just moved to if it was.
I could talk myself into them at 2k but 3k may take me a while to come to terms with.

Did the first 50 miles yesterday, kept under 6k revs and it felt great. I hadn’t ridden in almost 2 years but felt at home straight away. My last proper bike was a 2019 SDR and while it was a great bike in the 8k miles I did on it I never felt at home like the Streetfighter.
My only 2 gripes were the exhaust valve shutting, not sure if it’s speed or revs related and the suspension a bit stiff but the roads round here are really quite bad.

  7. Yep it is louder, but I’ve taken the baffles out. With them in it’ll still be louder than stock, but shouldn’t be asbo loud!

And yep, these are fantastic bikes. I’m loving mine.

  10. Thank you for the kind words. From between the bike being dropped off and use leaving for the hospital we had about 3 minutes. It’s still not sank in that I have a Ducati

The ear defenders he has on had also just been delivered, we debated going down to London and thought the noise might overwhelm him. I’m ex military and felt compelled to go down but we had to put the little one first and it looked like it could be chaos down there so we cancelled.
Plus, I couldn’t leave the bike at home alone. I had important Evotech goodies to purchase.
