Make a bracket for the reservoir - try not to drill and tap any existing parts if you can.
I attached mine using existing fixing points.

  2. I ordered one of these BSD units. Yes Ricky, I won't be doing anything to any oem parts. (Clip on excluded as I have a spare)

Im taking a punt on this for reservoir clamp as its only 5.99. I could bolt the bds to that to make it neater, dunno we'll see. But I think i can position this to re-use oem reservoir bracket.

  4. These clamps are a result for only £5.99. I have my reservoir where it was oem now, so no fairing clash. They're 10mm wide, so nice and narrow. Only caveat is you need a longer hose. 10mm OD x 6mm ID and 150mm long. OEM is 100mm. Typical.

    BSD arrives tomorrow.

  5. OK. OK. I will say it. Great setup. Brembo. BSD. Ruined with Lego block clamps from god knows where.
Make a bracket yourself or if you want to buy, get something better. Kelfab springs to mind.

    Honestly just trying to help.

  6. Nah. Its practical. Its not a show pony. It’ll do. Money can be better spent. Its to be a road/track bike. I like working bikes.

  8. I just spend loads on m/c and bsd. A nicer one can come along once Ive fully sorted the track day setup. Oh and made more mistakes. This is part of the fun.

Ive to replace a slightly melted lower panel I got as a bodykit cheap on fleabay and to paint that and the tank cover. Its currently in fe trim and its not an fe. Can't have that.

  9. I actually got this, which is very nice. The pic above is the previous model. This is better. https://www.bikesportdevelopments.c...on---brake-pump-mount---stoprun-start-lap-set

Despite Jacks objections :) the 5.99 bracket looks ok as its black and not really noticeable and frankly the kelfab one is not very cool (polite) and would require a new reservoir as its a side mount fixing. The oem is a top mount fixing. Plus there's no obvious rubber mounting on kelfabs I can see. AND I already bought a new reservoir (coz its clean) and Im not buying another one. Ner.

I'll firm it all up and photo it at weekend for Jacks and others' disgust.

  11. BSD = nice. Kelfab will do a bracket for side or underneath BTW.
Looking forward to seeing the set up. So long as you’re happy that’s all that matters.

  14. Its all together and road tested in S (soft), which already feels better than oem and oem wasn't bad (not as good as my old 1198 which was immense). The legendary bracket did okay. But I noted BSD do one with white printed part no on it which should sate Jack. So Its to be replaced.
