I can empathise One Sunday had cleaned and polished my car (before being ill) on the Monday housing workmen arrive next door, one decided to reverse up to my car open his back doors and started to empty plaster mix and mix it at the front of my car I was not happy and went and had a chat to which he replied don't worry I will clean it I said no way are you touching my car
As I am off to bludgeon my way round Henbury GC tomorrow I resurrected the weapons from the depths of the garage where the mice have been looking after them. Titliest DTR( distance through research) -cutting edge tools when Harry Vardon was using them….. badge showing the last time I played at a club. Was going to go down a range today to try and dredge up the old magic but a session of clay shooting at Bisley yesterday has left me with sore shoulders ! I fear tomorrow may not go well. Esp as I gave blood this eve and now have a hole in one empty arm as well
It has taken me 35+ years, but I am finally returning back up north after coming south for "a few months" for a job after I finished my degree. Signed a rental today, which is also another long lost experience after my last rental about 30 years ago.
A cycling friend has had AF and had some type of ablation at Bournemouth then Salisbury iirc, they told him it’s not unusual to have the treatment more than once. Seems to be back on track and has regained his energy levels. Definitely look after yourself and don’t get fobbed off, no idea where your nearest cardiac specialist hospital is, but I’m sure it’s worth the drive. Ours is Bournemouth, I’m sure you must have one closer. ATB Steve
There're not many days left for me now on the biking front with the weather falling in, a unexpected call from a friend yesterday. Him, do you want a ride or not, Me, see you in one hours time...........everything else was left on the backburner.
Up early for a workout, now heading to London for an all day session with a mate. Will try not to come on here and post gibberish later, but can’t make any promises.
Given the Tuono a damned good thrashing along the Helmsley TT, then dodged the suicidal sheep along the moor tops to Castleton if anyone knows the area.
Sorted out a binding rear caliper on my van which I hated every minute of, took the 899 out for a 65 mile blast which I loved until someone in the petrol station said that’s a lovely fireblade and ruined my day Just washed it and put it back in the workshop, now off to the pub.
Just didn’t know what to choose for dinner tonight it was a toss up between donkey or chicken I thought the Italians ate pizza
