  7. Yes, but a little bit flash for washing motorcars you'd thought.

  8. Don't be silly as he would be ripping up mud in his Lamborghini.

  9. Catching up with the motogp race only at the minute, gutted for the man in third position in the championship.

  16. "Fabricated" some studs to re-mount the front fairing on the 2007 MTS after a drop.
started in Fusion360 and then thought: WTF... invisible location, JBweld epoxy to fill any 1 mm gaps and the headlight holder is the perfect jig. Ran to the shed and half an hour later 2 "perfect" aluminium studs some measuring, but more eyeballing.
No need to buy a replacement fairing, quite hard to get hold of a decent one, being Dutch and cheap I also saved around 100 euro's, next to this mishap a bent subframe and a broken headlight/fairing mount, found a used set for 65 euro's so bike back to normal tomorrow.
Original mounts seem to look like sacrificial parts, however they did not prevent the subframe from bending and the headlight holder from breaking after a drop from standstill, so I'm fine with 12 mm solid aluminium, not even bothering to take a couple of mm of in the middle with the lathe.

  17. Received a phone call yesterday, my long awaited new windows will be installed in a couple of weeks. Wahoo :D Only problem is, that gives me 2 weeks to get the rooms cleared and a radiator isolated and removed ready for changing a window into french doors. Got my work cut out for me, I can tell you :joy: Andy
