Been adding some tat to the bmw. M sport rearsets. The blue bits will shortly be anodised black to blend in a bit more. Seat cowl. Giles footrest blanking plates. New front boot. Ilmberger carbon belly pan (covers the cat a fair bit to please those who are easily offended). The latter was a pig to fit. So tight and zero flex being carbon. I’m still not happy but I will get it spot on over the next few weeks. Here she is (amazing bike still btw):-
I think the blue looks ok on the M sport jobbie but just does not suit my bikes colour scheme. £10 at the local metal finishers to anodised the blue bits black. Sorted.
Nope. Anodising only. I have a different lot for zinc plating locally. Another for quality stainless steel TIG welding. But no contacts for polishers , sorry.
Buy a grinder and a polisher conversion kit and DIY? If you do decide to to this make sure the grinder / soon to be polisher has 400w motor -or larger- and ideally brushless. Something like this perhaps? https://www.screwfix.com/p/titan-tt...WCI6aMs4SH57Kxl5bphoCZSwQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
