Hey all, long time biker but first time Duke owner here. Ordered a full spec multi v4s today. Collect it Monday hopefully. Went for a test ride, ended up being about 3 hours and knew it was the bike for me. it’s my first grown up (middle aged ♂️) bike too after many a race-rep and naked/ super-naked. Can’t wait to be back on two wheels after a year since I sold my Speed Triple RS. Look forward to getting to know you on here. Cheers all.
Congratulations. Be interesting to see how you get on with it compared to prior rides. I recently tried to move away from sports bikes. Epic fail.
Thanks all. reckon I’ll be fine Jack. I’m no Rossi or Marquez and could almost certainly ride the multi as fast, if not faster than my sports-bikes and nakeds on the road. The multi lifts the front wheel on the throttle in 3rd too. Fun enough for me. Wont say I’ll never go back but I’m sure I’ll get more use from this bike than my last 2 or 3. Expensive mistake if I’m wrong though

Ha ha, the sales person was super cool over it to be fair, and she sold me a bike so I’m sure she’s not complaining As much as they acted cool when I brought it back in one piece, they must have wondered if I’d parked it in a hedge somewhere at some point though, agree.
I've no doubt my multi 1260S is easier for me to ride fast than the sports bikes (including 1098r, 198S, pani 1199) I've had.
