I suppose if I leave at 8:30 and make 'decent progress' I would be there for 10ish which is reasonable. Its a different ride and destination which is always good.
Good luck to anybody riding at this time of year, long johns comes to mind on this trip or you just might freeze to death.,
that's why I can't understand how they keep bigging up entirely electric vans for the future - anything bar nuclear heating just isn't going to be battery economical.
Ah, ok. I must have misread as I thought it said entry ticket or display ticket. I was only after a free entry ticket - but it did state that one was required, or so I thought. Happy days, cheers.
50 years from now, everyone will travel there with maximum economy (WTFTWE) and just set up a hologram projector of their "loved one".
a reminder for DOC monthly meet at Newlands Corner tomorrow around midday, and DOC also riding to Goodwood the next day (2nd October) for Breakfast Club - theme is "anything but the car" (8am-1pm). This clashes with London to Brighton run, also on the coming Sunday. This year's route is Tattenham Corner at Epsom Downs to Brighton City Airport at Shoreham via Leonardslee Gardens for a break (see link). https://sunbeam-mcc.co.uk/the-82nd-pioneer-run-2nd-october-2022/ https://www.leonardsleegardens.co.uk/all-events/the-sunbeam-pioneer-run-2022
Can't say for sure Rich, we have been there up to 3 pm in the past when good weather/big turnout. I plan to go but dependent on the whether.
