  1. Ok, I'm thinking of getting a satNav for the bike ready for a European trip next year.

    Garmin or Tom Tom?

    I'm stuck - I've read loads of reviews and both have pro's & cons
    I have bluetooth helmet so would like music, telephone and instructions from SatNav

    or do I just stick the iPhone in a water proof case?

  2. i own a garmin, but i would buy a tom tom next time as it has a 'windy road' button

  3. I've never understood this... Is this for farting?
    :cool::eek:

  4. Most people I know own the Garmin 660 LM. If I were to buy 1 I'd go for the Garmin.

  5. might be winding, not sure, plus i got the 660 LM

  6. Other makes of SatNav are also available... I have a NavMan and it's great...

  7. I have 2 Mitac Mio's.You can plan your own route on them just using a map,no need to play about with computers.

  8. Garmin all the time for me. Bike, Car (unless built in) and cycles.

  9. I use a cheap garmin sat nav I think it cost me £90 from Halfords, I keep a small plastic bag under the seat and pop that over it when it starts to rain, have been using it now in all weathers and it has never let me down, it makes me mad to see the dedicated bike sat navs over £400 when the cheap ones work just as we'll
