My mate got offered a Brutale Nurbergring. Nice, at a price. They love a limited edition but to be fair they produce such relatively small numbers of bikes (at least for now) they’re all LEs
How many times has MV gone bust and been recapitalised by a new owner in the last fifty years? Is it now owned by Russians and Chinese? In spite of all this financial turmoil, somehow they produce the worlds's most beautiful bikes and I am very grateful to own and ride a couple of them.
I’d agree with the comments about the quickshifter, in the euro 4 bikes it was made I would guess by translogic as it looks very very similar and it was a really firm action with a lovely crackle on changes
I had a couple of new brutales and both were spot on. I did about 12k on each of them, paint finish was sublime. Would of loved a brutale RC, but they went out of my price range new.
Yeah the general prices of mv have got really really silly….. I think the rosso is the only MV that can be justified at the moment, especially with decent finance deals
Ah yes thats another point, MV F3 Rosso , paint works on tank is awesome laquared finish. Bike cost approx £14,800. Ducati V2 Panigale, bike cost approx £16,795, laquaer is an optional extra, wtf!
I was told there is a price increase coming for Euro M.V bikes, Krazy Horse have stock of unregistered Euro 4 Brutales.
every year there is… same story.. just like Ducati put on about £300 per year. I paid £15k for my v2 in 2020 And they are over £16k now
I had issues with the heat, mine ran over 100 degrees most of the time, and just cooked me. For comparison, my 899/848 used to run around 80 degrees regularly and they were hot, but nothing like this. I also had 4-5 warranty recalls in the 1500 miles I'd done on it... Headlights failed... whole new units required 3 months before the warranty expired. Bits falling off... Wiring shorting out when wet and random lights flashing without ignition on, caused by the supplying dealer. Blipper issues... Just worked sometimes, was all over the place with revs, others had issues and report possibly gearbox sensor the issue. I know others will jump in and say how amazing theirs are, but there were an awful lot of the early bikes for sale with low miles for it to be co-incidence. I wish I'd have bought a 959 Corse... I'd still have it, without a shadow of a doubt.
Mine was a first batch one, it went out the showroom with I think 3 more that were all going to tri options. I think only a few others had them, Jaimie had a whole in his exhaust and issues with the blipper.
Stunning bike the Rosso, see one at Krazy horse and was impressed. Hope you gets the smiles per miles out of it I have been mulling over the F3 RR for a while, seen two different ones now and a unique bike that stands out - but not sure its an improvement on the V2 in terms of ride or quality
I absolutaly love this bike. I prefer the Rosso over the RR, the big fairings on the RR aren't my cup of tea, but its a lovely bike also.
