You’ll get through this, and come out the other side. As you get your head around not having your licence, you’ll focus on other things. Just try and stay positive and think about all the good things in your life.
Feel for you Paul and it must be really inconvenient to you, but that’s all it is, an inconvenience, for the time being. Friends wife had her licence back after a TIA, so I can’t see why you won’t have yours back asap.
Sorry to hear about your licence Bradders, that’s got to be a right kicker, more so dealing with the sodding DVLA. Only thing that gets me through tough times is something my grandfather once told me, “ no matter how bad you have it right now, there is ALWAYS someone worse off than you” . chin up mate and fingers crossed it all pans out OK.
Today I washed Mrs Slingy’s car.. and by that I mean sat drinking a ghey latte while the scratch n’ go machine did it’s thing That was done while taking the B-King’s front wheel to have the tyre swapped. That went from OK to hell naw in about 500 miles tops
Paul sorry to hear what's going on Always good to have a review and know your as safe as can be while in charge of a vehicle Positive thoughts that your licence is given back to you very soon. In the meantime do what you can to keep yourself fit and strong and what really matters in life to you. Illness has a way of changing life suddenly we must never take anything for granted We are all ears so reach out if your struggling with positivity
Sorry to hear that Paul! Try and stay positive matey and I do hope it's not too long before you get your license back.
2 rooms to clear before Monday morning. One thing is for sure, as soon as the new front door, windows and french doors are fitted, I'm spending a week doing dump runs. I have accumulated so much rubbish it has to go. Andy
Paul when your going through trying times yours is as important as mine I never see myself as worse or better off than anyone else You got this stay strong but it's ok to not be ok too just don't stay there accept it is and rest, do something nice and simple things will do, eg a warm bath a nice coffee sit in the garden then tomorrow is another day
Sorry mate, didn’t mean it to come across that way, it’s just the mantra I used to get me through some really shit patches. Hope your situation sorts out soon
NP fella I didn’t take it that way at all. It’s something I say a lot too and normally use as a mechanism for coping. This time, tbh, it’s of no use at all.
Perhaps it was the final ride on the 998 today before they start salting the roads, i'll leave it taxed for the end of the month along with two others just incase.
I've someone looking at a bikefor sale in morning so Yes maybe the 996 will come out and play for one more time, make the most of this fab weather i say.
Nope. Just once I. 2 1/2 years. And back to normal following day. But don’t know if it will come back, hence another heart op next week. Only on blood thinners because of the op, otherwise no drugs. Like I say: nothing wrong with me
