Walked up Pen Y Fan this morning, then did the waterfalls. Back at the Airbnb, got some lamb in the oven for dinner.
Well had a cracking day today, ...went moped racing with @Expat Jack and @iamme at raf odiham. Competition was tuff but we did OK, few crashes though,
I may have, as we did a few, but which one is that and I’ll check? Edit - just seen it’s the A4069, which is about half an hour away. Will try and squeeze that in tomorrow.
Fingers crossed you get your AF resolved soon and licence restored Hope the procedure goes well and sorts out the problem so you can get your licence back asap
Ignore my first post as I thought I'd deleted it - because I wasn't sure if you were in AF or not!! I can see how annoying it is if you've only every had it once. Still all the best for whatever you are having done allowing you to get back to normal
Cleaned both bikes and swapped them around in the garage - going to get the 600 MOT'd this month to avoid it running out in January (last two times were both icy!)
Up early and had the washing pegged out and it was still dark. On the road at 7am with a mate to Aylesbury to pick up his new hyperstrada. A glorious sunny drive, talking nonsense, we were there in no time. Bike is a minter, added bonus as I was pushing it to the van I noticed a cable coming from the left twist grip. Turns out it has ducati heated grips fitted which the dealer didn't realise or my mate so a nice bonus. Reasonable journey back too. Watched the WSBK from Portugal, bit of dinner now feet up in front of the box. Meeting at half eight tomorrow morning for a ride out with his new bike.
Always up pegging away way before breakfast, the best time of the day before the helter shelter starts rolling.
My friends wife told me this morning that she liked to get pegging done early. Suggested she look the term up on Google images
Nice walk this morning, about to head off for Sunday lunch, via the Top Gear road, as recommended. Rescued this fella, who was well and truly tangled in the brambles. The dozy sod then ran further down by the river, getting tangled again, so I had to free him again. Made sure he got safely back in the field before we left, and I blocked the gap in the fence, so hopefully it won’t happen again.
Pleasant ride this morning with my mate on his new bike which we picked up yesterday. Only 8c at 8:30, but 15 on the return run.
