The van was serviced today a little later than usual as i covered 20,000 miles since the last one. A little light strimming in the garden and also i adjusted the clutch action on the XL for that smooth launch, Lol.
2 days into the week and I have a new front door and 4 new windows installed. 2 complicated bay windows and a window to french door conversion to go. The window installer has an impressive work ethic and is very neat and tidy Andy
Locally based, father (recently retired) and son, family business. We agreed a price and a (flexible) timescale, given he does not work weekends and has a 12 year old daughter who has aspirations (and the skill) to try out for Reading ladies football club. He has an enviable attitude towards his work/life balance. Andy
That's avoiding potholes and the crappy roads and probably the tyres not protecting the wheel enough I avoid kerbs I won't bump up them or park half on half off kerbs I do need some new wheels though
Decided to ride the Top Gear road today on the Gsxr 85 miles to Llandovery in the dry then 20 miles of gale force winds, heavy rain and dense cloud cover on the pass! It’s got to be the worst conditions I’ve ever ridden in, I couldn’t see my hand in front of my face or all the bloody sheep. Then road back up to home soaked to the skin and freezing cold. 205 miles in total . I’m not doing that again Anyway a before cleaning and after cleaning of the bike ( I know you all lover a Gixxer on here).
I've just had my first enquiry on a bike that been up 4 sale for a considerable time frame, with one sentence and no hello or not even asking about the bike, the only way forward is too avoid disppointment don't respond is my answer. Also has anybody got a foot heel problem with their feet at present or past for that matter, as mine are in serious pain now.!
Let me guess: – “what’s your lowest price mate? “ Heel-wise, are you talking about bony stuff or soft tissue? had Achilles heel a couple of times, it was down to unsuitable footwear and jumping on hard surfaces, sporty type stuff.
Possibly Plantar Fasciitis or more commonly known as Policeman's heel. Not a lot you can do except wearing memory foam soled shoes. The steroid injection is for the last resort IMO, 3" needle guided in from the instep with ultrasound. I wear Sketchers and have had little problem since. Andy
Not even that, but looking at his surname perhaps he's based in Italy, would you discribed jumping on used bank notes so that they'll fit under the floorboards as a hard surface then i'm in real trouble. Just the heels when getting starting in the mornings from that horizontal position.
Thank you Andy, i've some shoe / boots inserts coming in the post today or tomorrow and see how i go with that format first before i invest money on new feet from Amazon's.
Just started my journey to Yeovil. Bus to town then 2 hours by train and a 20 minute walk the other end. Journey home is 70 miles eastbound on the A303 ........ deep joy. Andy
