This Is Racing | Event Postponed – Stay Tuned

  1. So the latest instalment of the 'Ducati Premiere series' has been postponed. Hotly tipped to be the new or improved V4R (at least that is what is being bandied about) Wonder why the delay? Could be any number of reasons admittedly. Perhaps they have had a re-think given the specs of the new BMW S1000R with its new slide control in/out of corner function.

  2. Just seen this!
Been waiting for news on the new v4r! hmmm.....

  3. BMW seem to be on a roll.
The m1000rr and now a full power 210 bhp m1000r will give other manufacturers something to think about. They are getting serious.

  9. Ye but you know the plastics are awful, the calipers are pony and the brake discs warp like an LP in the oven

  10. Callipers are good since they ditched HAYES. Now Nissin. Brake discs are 5mm on the upper end bikes. Plastics are shit but paint is good. Just spec carbon.

  11. Mate has had every s1000rr. Every one has had the discs warp

  12. Interesting. My bike has 5mm think discs and they are Brembo. OE. It’s a 22 model.

  13. I must have been lucky with mine then. :)

  15. Looks like the Ducati Premiere online presentation which has been re-scheduled for tomorrow, is likely to be the new 2023 Panigale V4R. Notable additions being black Ohlins forks and calipers, revised bodywork (as per the new V4 and V4S) and carbon wheels (as per the V4SP and Superleggera V4), as well as the Akra slip ons. Will have to wait until then to find out any further details, such as revised power output, geometry, price etc. (It also appears to be sporting a big-ass logo as well :astonished:)

  16. Quite exciting this. Wonder what power it will make.

  17. curious choice of footwear...

  18. Needs to have a seamless gearbox too.

  19. it won't have carbon wheels as it a race homologation bike, plus its to a WSB decided budget so they won't spend money on the tat trinkets, more on the basis for the race bike....
