So what have you done today..?

  1. I used to love travelling there & back on the A303 to my mates house in Exeter back in the day, no doubt today very congested with muppets.

  2. ^ not come across that one. :upyeah: Plantar Fascilitis. - it does sound more like this.

  3. Looking at that information it's certainly not down to being over weight, it all started when working at Pagham walking for miles on road & off road in grass fields with unsuitable steel toe cap boots etc, so perhap a little self inflicted.

  4. I think you've got it. :upyeah: Had a similar revelation this year when I started walking far more frequently but mine was medial tibial stress syndrome or "Shin Splints" with pretty alarming symptoms so a massive relief when (self) diagnosed, and bones benefitted as a result after healing. Poor footwear but also sudden massive increase in walking was the cause.

  5. I have it it's from walking on a concrete floor at work it developed over the years
A lot of us have the same problem
It's bloody painful especially in the morning
It's like your foot has curled up in the night and doesn't want to straighten out again

The only thing that's cured mine is the time I have had off work while going through treatment
There are exercises you can do for it
Rolling your foot over a bottle of frozen water is quite nice
    Reflexology/foot massage is good too

  10. Having been a BT customer since 1985 and a loyal broadband customer since the early days, I have given them the sack. Sick of broken broadband service and slow speeds (max 35mbps) paying just short of £100 for broadband/phone/TV/Sports.
I say I have given them the sack, but EE is effectively BT. However, the 4g Mobile Broadband Service is better in our locality then BT Fibre. As of today the switch has been done. 99.11mbps, happy days. All for £28 per month, unlimited.

  18. Felt like a very long day yesterday despite spending the majority of it sitting down in a bus, in a train and in my new to me car driving home. Pleasantly surprised by Southwest Trains although the line to Yeovil took me back to the late 1950’s and the branch line at the bottom of my maternal grandparents house :joy: The A303 continues to disappoint, it took me 3 hours to do 70 miles. Still, I’m mobile on 4 wheels again if only for 5 days, had absolutely no contact from my insurer about the write off so having to rely on 5 days free insurance from SEAT  Hey, ho but Brands Hatch here we come :D Andy

  19. Try not to crash this one, then you won't have all the faffery! :p:D
