Was the bike being sluggish or wooly on the throttle? 9 out of 10 times its the MAP sensor, there are 2, take about 25 minutes to swop, do them one at a time to identify the failed one and keep a spare.
I had a similar situation whilst at a two-day event at Snetterton. Threw the bike in the van and took it to Ducati Cambridge and £22.50 later I knew it was just the rear lambda sensor so was good to continue. Thought that was very reasonable for a diagnostic plugin, read and coffee while a waited
