So what have you done today..?

  1. I've just fired up the excavator before the winter sets in, working the hydraulics for 20 odd minutes etc, also finally plumbed in my vanity unit so no more using the kitchen sink. Plus a lovely Triumph motorcycle in Oxted today.

  7. @Poucher We really like NZ. My brother lives in Red Beach just outside Auckland. We've done two trips, hardly scratched the surface.

  8. I only had a couple of days there and it had a great vibe about the place..
Would love to get back for a month with a car and have a good tour of North and South islands.
My cousin says come back any time, so I might formulate a tour plan for a couple of years time, great place :upyeah:

  9. Not fond of the pimientos de padron then Terry ? Andy

  10. Hire a camper/ motor home from Auckland and head south taking in all the sights on the way. The camp sites are very well catered but when I did this I interspersed the trip with hotels here and there.
The South Island is especially beautiful
Try six to eight weeks, I found that was enough time not to rush through.

  18. Drove to Iverfarigaig on the banks of Loch Ness. It turns out that the name, Inverfarigaig, is Gaelic for “the arse end of nowhere”.

  20. 20221028_135013[1].jpg Exchanged three old paper format £20 bank notes for new ones, they were a misprint & staff took forever to accept them.
