Off out tomorrow morning for a steady pedal and catch up with a mate. Hopefully as many bridle ways and off road as possible, and all in DAYLIGHT!!
Roads were excellent, lots of bikes around and , part of the Tudons road was closed for a little while for some testing for an upcoming rally. We were invited into the hospitality for drinks and jamon
bit of both I think, I just caught that, around a third of motorists would like to see bicycles banned was mentioned and will be repeated in the programme, plus motorists admitting driving too close to cyclists on purpose (I think one was called Terry ). All stuff to help us sleep more easily tonight.
A good week ! Although the map I added after Tudons section back to La Nucia I think was no pedalling req’d as I did a little homework and added a couple of extra teeth for the uphill sections my max speeds around 40mph ! Although mates gps was just over 50mph on that section !! chatting later we were both thinking that would fecking hurt
Thinking ! I’ve never been scared riding a bike although I still never got round to riding the H2r, but even watching one of the videos from you tube H2r v Lambo turbo does scare me
Let me guess. Cyclist should pay Road tax Shouldn’t ride 2 abreast Need to be insured. Should only ride in cycle lanes Shouldn’t hold me up in my car because I is more entitled to the road. Blah blah blah.
Yes ! Reporter was wearing dark clothing riding a dark coloured bike through 75% of the programme, also I didn’t notice anyone with flashing or bright lighting. The majority or all the clothing I wear and any I buy has some bright colours and I always use flashing lights when out !! I would hope that no-one can say they never noticed me.
TBH I’m guessing that those that do wear all Black don’t realise how invisible they are at distance, yes that includes motorised 2 wheelers too.
This is the one for me ! I bought the H2r to do a track night and maybe a 1/4 mile drag day !! Next year maybe
