Early doors of course but still looking like Honda Yamaha and ktm have all got some catching up to do with ducati and aprilia No sign of that extra top speed for Fabio yet either. Wondering why no number one plate for pecco?
Apparently Marquez has just told the press he wont win the title next year on the bike he was given today. Chortle, chortle.
As much as I’m no huge fan to say he’s done is a bit harsh. Definitely needs to jump ship if he wants to be the goat though.
Do we know what happened to FQ's chest with those marks, he does give out the impression that he's got call girls on speed dial with extra sharp stilettos.
FQ suffered from quite serious gravel rash on his chest as a resultvofvhis coming together with MM. That’ll be new skin pink. Andy
Aragon crash with Marquez, leathers burst open, chest protector ejected. So what did the test tell us.... Marquez - not happy and says the bike isn't a winner - https://the-race.com/motogp/marquez-honda-prototype-not-at-level-to-fight-for-motogp-title/ Fabio - The bike is no quicker, and he went slower than FP3 - https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/1016675/1/something-wrong-weird-quartararos-2023-engine-not-faster If you watched the coverage Pol was happy as punch back on the KTM, tapping the tank and I saw a clip this morning of him coming back into the pit after a run and shouting he loved it. Rins/Mir - As expected way down the order, confirming what Marc has to say and confirming my thoughts. I guess we have to wait until the Sepang test to see if anything has changed over winter, plus Valencia isn't the best track to make assumptions at.
I see a big claim against the leather suppliers don't you for that damage to his torso ?, but you also forgot to mention poor old Jack Miller in his new back of the field routine from now on in, if that's not a wake up call then i don't what is. So the only team and riders that hit the right notes are Aprilia which bodes well for the 2023 season, but the top teams could be keeping their cards close to their chests at this stage.
Claim for what ? Its motorsport, the kit actually did its job, without it he'd be mincemeat, one way or the other its sacrificial and the forces through the zip may have been well beyond tolerances due to the type of impact / fall / slide, haven't watched the video back. There won't be a claim, motorsport has risk, that risk is accepted, where was the claim after Marco lost his helmet ?
I really can't see how it did it's job when the zip exploded on impact causing damage to his skin, more development work is required regardless whether the kit's being used on the public highway or track in my opinion.
Maybe user error on his part not zipping all the way up, airbag deploys opens zip=gravel rash. He has been known to ride with his zip open.
Just seen theres only two test dates before the season opener in Portugal (and one of them is two weeks before the season starts), eek! And this time next year we'll still have three rounds left to go
