  1. Updates to the 800 Icon, Full Throttle and Nighshift announced today. Been on a diet, electronics package, quickshifter and new multimedia dash.

No mention of the Sled and Motard models or the 1100’s so either they’ll come later or are being dropped from the range?

  2. The Scrambler next-gen expands, becoming more colourful and irreverent.
The new generation of Ducati Scrambler has been completely redesigned, retaining the spirit that has made this family a worldwide success: an essential, fun, easy-to-ride motorcycle with a great personality, whose uniqueness emerges even stronger thanks to an eye-catching, modern style.

The result of this recipe are three Ducati Scrambler models: Icon, Full Throttle and Nightshift.
Three differently styled motorcycles, united by a relaxed riding position and low weight, to offer enthusiasts great riding pleasure, on urban journeys as well as on out-of-town trips.

  3. Just created a thread about this so might want to merge?

No mention of the Motard or sled models or the 1100’s?

  4. Threads merged

  5. I’ve heard rumours that the sled is being dropped.

  6. Only the 3 new 803cc and 2 1100cc models currently being offered on the web site. Andy

  7. What's with the insulating tape across the headlight look? Are they trying to infer coolness by suggesting you are just back from a track day? Wierd.

  8. The X has been a big part of the branding since Scrambler was launched. I guess it's one of those "if you like it" things. :)

Suppose it's no more daft than fitting "winglets" to roadgoing bikes, it's a look that either speaks to you or not.

I bought a Scrambler in 2015 and still have it, it's a great bike and very enjoyable. If I didn't already have one I'd say that the upgraded model would look quite tempting.

  9. The Scrambler just leaves me a bit cold.
Triumph do the retro thing so much better.

  10. Depends what you like, if you prefer a parallel twin then the Triumph has its charms.

Scrambler is good fun basic motorcycling, pretty nippy and handles great. :)

  11. Love my scrambler, not tried the 800’s but mine suits my needs, the mrs even prefers it to the Multistrada, apart from its lack of luggage :joy:
