Thanks for the info. I was quite keen until you said about the accident damage. I guess that's why it's missing the aluminium tank. I would have ditched the quick shifter anyway. I did like the idea of a Louigi Moto rebuilt engine!
This has been on Autotrader Bikes for quite a while. I did enquire about it and eventually they said it had been a track bike. Which explains the gap in the MoT history between 2015 and 2021. The didn't mention the accident damage and frame repair though...
600ss minus forks so less than the 1K he wants? https://www.facebook.com/marketplac...place_top_picks&referral_story_type=top_picks
HX is what Snells bikes come with. You can see there is a black cover on the frame in the picture. They did say it was properly repaired not a patch up. You could try and get a bit more off. I also was tempted by the Louigi Moto engine and if it was on back then for this price then I might have taken a punt. In the end I got an very clean stock one with half the mileage and also disabled the quickshifter. Other than the horrible looking grips it also looks to have a non-standard throttle.

I figured they have put a cover over the frame so you can't spot whatever repair was done. But I didn't bother questioning further as Dobles never phoned me back.
