Due to my stubbornness, and no-one else needing to drive my vehicles I have been an observer of "slow" punctures for more than half my life, possibly as have you, and they can be fickle and "repair" themselves temporarily/permanently going hand-in-hand with use or seasonal temperature.
@Chris I didn't want to butt in again on the above person message, but yes i've always enjoyed the challenge of driving for weeks if not months with nails left in the tyres.....what a buzz.!
i'm lazy enough to test that with a well-fitting valve cap. I can remember deciding to swap a Shrader valve on a '63 Capri one lunch hour, only to then mis-place both old and new valves. I foot-pumped the tyre up to around 50 psi and quickly put the cap on, and wasn't late back to work. This was fine for a week or two from memory.
Funnily enough I did remove the valve core and clean it so it could have been a bit of crap stoppping it seal properly I suppose.
Went to see Brit Floyd at the Anvil in Basingstoke. A 3 hour concert but a bit too self indulgent with the play list for my taste. Never was a Pink Floyd fan at the time and tonight reminded me why Still went to a Thai restaurant beforehand and had a duck something that was delicious and spicy so not a total loss of an evening. Exactly what I used to do. However I have become extremely cyclical/wary where I donate any money these days. The Royal British Legion is the wealthiest military charity and has reserves (not working capital) of £70-£80M.
I find that odd, but we are all different and of course, it's everyone's choice. My observation of fewer worn poppies was in comparison to past years, rather than an increase in conscientious objectors or other woke minded folk.
Without trying to stir a hornets nest the RNLI are the wealthiest charity I read a few years back. Charities step in/up where governments fail to provide.
Had my covid booster jab, been for a walk, ordered my GHIC card online. Now for a snooze (with Enola Holmes on TV to assist me)
It isn’t you it’s your, if you’re going to rant at least keep the spelling correct and use caps adds to the effect. So the RNLI aren’t a wealthy charity? Did they spend their wealth on lifeguards and boats or squander it elsewhere rendering the charity penniless. In what way did my post claim a conspiracy and in what way is it out of date, they’re not wealthy any longer or never were? Which bit was bullshit some or all? Having a bad day hun? 2021 income was 197 mill give or take and that’s not wealthy even if in your eyes it isn’t a lot it’s a fair amount.
