They've never charged fitting for parts fitted to new bikes, even if the parts aren't official Ducati ones. They'll even fit full systems for free.
@tifosi256 Yes, I was suggesting that that would be the place to go as the OP mentioned Oxford. That is where I bought my 1260.
I did my deal the week before the 1500 free offer. The deal was made available to me and I added £950 worth of additional extras and dealer knocked £550 off the original agreed price. Result 1500 fitted free
I ordered my V4 in November and changed the order in March when the White colourway was introduced. This delayed delivery until July - which was when the £1,500 of free accessories was introduced. I'd already ordered over £1,500 of accessories with the bike but Ducati Aylesbury just applied the offer as a discount and I didn't pay for their installation. Saying that I had to wait for the keyless filler cap to installed at the first service (the original was found to be damage when they attempted install at PDI). I also ended up fitting the auxiliary spot lights as they came in after the first service. I'm still waiting for the touring handguards.
hate to say it mate but you’ve probably bought from the worst Ducati dealer in the south. I bought my V2 from there and nothing but problems, and I’ve heard a multitude of issues from people who live around this area. Personally I’d call MotoRapido and get your order sorted there
Many thanks for the offer. I'll chase the handguards I've ordered however I'm not in a hurry as the bike is tucked away for the winter.
