Any comments on the disks? Noticeable improvements? I'll be installing red pads at the same time as well. The 1260 gt I recently bought has the same issue my last 1260 gt had which was slightly warped disks which really feels horrible under trail braking (had them replaced and still the same issue). A good upgrade. I would however advise caution buying from Omnia Racing, they have a very mixed reputation dealing with customers living outside Italy. That said, I’m sure someone will stand up for them but I won’t. Andy
You could see if you can get a deal from Bike Torque ....they usually have an eBay shop I got mine from their shop in Frome .....paid a bit over ..but for me fairly local ...and no overseas shipping .. tax ...admin fee hassles ...decided to just suck it up ...and pay the extra
Thanks guys, I'll check out other options to buy from. As for the feedback, where would you say is the most improved?
I can't really say if braking is better with the Serie Oros because I was replacing the shit warped OEM Brembo discs .....also put new pads in .....All I can say is they work fine and I don't have any braking issues. My original discs warped after 2k miles IIRC....
I ve got consistent good experience with CarpiMoto. They however indicate a different model. https://www.carpimoto.it/en-NL/Bike_Ducati_Multistrada-1260-S-Grand-Tour/Brand_Brembo/Brakes/Brake-Rotors/46244_78B408A4-Brembo-Serie-Oro-Brake-Rotor-78B408A4.htm Have ordered with om omniaracing as well in the past and did not have a bad experience
Much nicer, stops faster, smoother and more progressive with the red pads and Oro discs (big improvement for me)
Sportsbikeshop are selling the red pads (07BB37SA for my 1200S DVT) at £48 a caliper at the moment if anyone is about to order some. 2 weeks wait for delivery but that's OK for almost 20% off....
