As per usual, England will qualify through the group stage with wins for sure but despite it being probably one of the weakest groups in the competition they’ll be lacklustre and painful to watch. Then as soon as we come up against a team half decent they’ll be on the first bad back to the airport.

I have no interest in this one. This World Cup is about money. No way should it be in December. England may not make it out of the group, don’t discount Wales or the U.S, they have more “heart” than England, Iran will want to prove a point too. I’ve watched a couple of Nations League games, Kidderminster Harriers could’ve beaten England.

No, retired some years back, he gave up playing for England way before he gave up playing for NU to extend his domestic game. From memory 2006 from league playing maybe a couple of years previous stopped playing for England. Still top goal scorer in the Premier league I believe.
