Chiclana de la Frontera. About 20 mins south of Cadiz, right on the coast.

 

Nice. We lived in Alcalá de Guadaira which is about 5 miles away from Seville. Used to spend a a lot of time down at the coast in Cadiz. You’ll love it!

 

Out of bed at 630 (having not gone to bed until nearly 2 as out on the lash) for a stupid o clock tee time in the Sunday comp - 1st group off 6 min after sunrise…stayed dry, shot 42 points and home to dinner already in the slow cooker. Caught up with wsbk - no spoilers here… shaved my head so I now look like this -> and soon be time for a nap.

Removed my mums shower valve this morning as it decided to let and leak last night.
Unfortunately it’s not an exposed valve but a recessed one so I’ve had to smash the tiling around it to blank the feed pipes.
She now wants a new bathroom!

Should have added this flooded the home office!
It’s been a busy day today.

Had a spend up. Got the bike, all set up as a great track bike, so took advantage of the 20% off as Sportbike www shop and bought an airbag suit with £120. Then booked flights and hotel for Spain in March.

Still not had that nap.

 

Where's your motivation for your lovely mum and what else are you gonna do this side of christmas.

 

I and a friend changed the brake fuild today on the Defender 90, it was very black in colour, who knows when it was replaced last time out.

 

Spent all day on the sofa watching the telly.

Rode across to feel like a proper biker (and get free parking)

For the cost of the visit it’s getting less and less worth it just to wander round and sit on some bikes.

Had a go on the ‘Adventure’ bikes off road course and confirmed that it’s definitely not for me!

Pretty much dropped off the bike with heat exhaustion - I’m so unfit! Plus wearing full kit inside a hot conference centre was not my idea of fun!

New Monster SP is a nice looking bike in the flesh - not sure about the relatively low power but had a nice chat with the pretty girl on the stand and registered my interest in a test ride when they come into the dealers next year.
