Like a true (fair weather) biker I drove my van over. My mate wanted to buy a new lid, which he did, a new Arai Quantic. Not sure I’ll bother going again
Cartagena. Not booking the TD tho as not sure what status my license will be. But going along for the boys weekend.
Funny old life. My 96 year old mum is in hospital with a broken hip. Three days ago she was doing fine. Last couple of days she went down hill. This evening she’s right as rain, result. She’s small but she’s tough. A few weeks ago she got Covid, brushed it off like it never happened! Next up I visited my bro number 4, same hospital. Yesterday he suddenly decided a heart attack would give us all more to focus on. He was in bed, sat up, connected to the National Grid by the looks of it and all things considered looking pretty cheery. Could I bring him some bike mags in to read? So that was a result of sorts. Then we get messages, photos and finally a phone call from our son who lives in Amsterdam. We are now officially ‘Grandparent’s’, which of course is great news. Young Billy, mum and dad are all doing fine but we’re not allowed to go visit just yet, which is a shame but what a great result. Other than that it’s been quite quiet and uneventful. So today’s visit will be to ‘the bike show’. Got to get your priorities right, don’t you think?
It seems several of the retailers I sometimes order food from, have early cutoff dates for ordering for the Christmas period. A piece of Valdeon Picos Blue and a piece of Cabrales now ordered. We do love a bit of stinky blue cheese and it doesn’t come much stinkier than the Valdeon, yum yum Andy
Took the seized chain off the chainsaw, freed it up and got everything moving again but now I can’t remember which way the chain should face. YouTube next stop!
Looks like we’ve got some experienced chainsaw owners with extensive experience here. Sharp bits away from you! That’ll work for me! Thanks lads.
