God are they still doing the Ducati break nonsense in briefings these days?! That was same 12 years ago!!

 

You boys know you can just dial the power down to 959 levels on a 1299…..

 

Yeah, I dialled my 1299 down to 649.5 level...

 

Sensible move.

And n pay who buy the smaller bike than add stuff like system, maps and other bits to make it go faster…they can’t just flick to full power

 

Yep, they sure do. I’ve suggested Ducati owners have a separate business lounge for briefings. Y’know, like in the air travel industry. It’s quieter in there and filters out the riff raff….

 

I like your style, I would go as far as a separate Ducati Group, but you can also go with Rehm, Promo, Bikers days, Farside etc... and enter an abuse-free and some would say, altogether more mature track day experience.

 

Its all meant as a laugh and I take it in that spirit.

Just a thought, An 1199 will hang onto the coat tails of a v4s on almerias 1k straight. Slow they are not.

 

899 would be my choice. So confidence inspiring and great fun with plenty power
