The issue might be that any post made commemorating the death of anyone is immediately moved here. The OP of such a thread might have a different view and be interested in some respectful informed discussion. This "rule" disallowing reasonable thread content is not applied anywhere else on the forum AFAIK.
RIP Wilko Johnson a very inspirational guitar player in his era and very much a part of the pub rock scene that brought about punk and new wave.
I'm working in the office today, and have Planet Rock on in the background. They've mentioned the sad news several times, but none of my colleagues had a clue who he was.
