Hi all, ive recently purchased a 899 Panigale moving from a Gsxr600. So far im very very happy with it and really love the bike. Im planning on keeping it the way it is but am after some Ducati performance racing levers and the Ducati performance rear sets…maybe eventually adding the gold oz racing alloys.
Hi and welcome. Ref the rearsets. The DP ones have limited adjustment and spares are “difficult” (impossible/ eye wateringly expensive). I would consider aftermarket ones personally.
Thanks Jack, yeah they are quite expensive. Re the adjustment doesnit sit higher? Im used to the gixxer so on the 899 my legs feel a little lower on the pegs
Yes they are higher than standard but lack the level of adjustment that a Spider/Bonamici/Litetech set would offer. I have the latter on my GSXR track bike and I have the pegs much higher than standard on that bike as an example. Edit - but I can drop them back to standard height with ease if I wanted to.
Try the Spider Rearsets, Dean. I’ve tried the DP, CNC Racing and settled with the Spider super bike ones. Congrats on the bike as well. They are cracking bikes and only get better the more miles you put on.
Thanks Jack, im one of those nerds who love keeping the bike as original as possible so really have my heart set on the DP ones, but will def look into the ones you mention
Thanks Bettes, i really do love the bike, i go into the garage and just sit there looking at it…i love the character amd handling, well impressed, such character. Its my first Ducati and i think ill keep this bike forever
