My wife sneaks peas into anything and everything. She finds them all over the place, as we tend to kindly hide the little fookers

 

Battered chips are the shizzle, although a local delicacy to me. No salt or vinegar for me though nor tarts sauce or catchup……

Battering weird things is a weird Southern trait. Nothing other than a fish for me, although I'm partial to a banana fritter, which I suppose is battered really.

Agreed on the additional condiments.

 

Don't forget the opportunity to point at one falling off the plate...whilst shouting escapee! Eventually it will drive the family wild..

 

In fact you can extend this to if a baked bean falls off your plate...you flattened it with your fist... whilst shouting... he's bean squashed!

Ps: not growing up is fun

Trying to book return ferry from NI to Liverpool sold out on the day I need, guess 23rd December a tough ask. Currently trying to work out if I can leave the van in NI for when I go back in the new year…..

Had many a portion of F&C's in Whitby, when visiting on the Mutley with a few other Mutley acolytes; delicious and a 'must-have' IMO.

 

I removed the van steering wheel today as i've a spring clock problem and needed some part numbers for the parts people.
