Phone Case Recommendations ?

  1. I have a new iPhone it came with an Apple silicone case, which is great for most of the time. I would like a tough case, which is splash proof for when I’m at work, camping cycling etc.

It wants to be relatively easy to fit and remove, protect both the back and front. Ideally a garish colour so the phone can easily be seen.

if anyone can recommend something that would be great, thanks in advance.

  2. I have a clear, 3mmm silicone rubber, three sided case with a screen protector. The three sided back cover is raised higher than the screen, so it stops most impacts on the screen. You can charge the 'phone through the case if you have the magnetic type charger, no problem.

I've dropped the 'phone a few times and 'm not overly precious about it, yet it still looks like new. T'was a fiver from Amazon, screen protectors a few pennies more.

  3. One more vote for quad lock.

  4. +1 for Quadlock

  5. I have Quadlock too. Slim enough to still fit pockets, heavy duty to protect, and of course it slips straight into quadlock brackets.

  6. I’ve had quad locks and their great if you want to see your phone on your bike/motorbike. I’m looking for something that covers the front and the back and is relatively easily fitted and removed, quad lock cases don’t fit my requirements this time.

  7. Something like this, but easy to fit/remove and for an iPhone 14,

  8. I'm not buying one of those unless I need to use my iphone as a bike sat nav. Its been styled on a JCB!

  9. Looks are unimportant as it’s for site work, it will be in its nice Apple silicone case most of the time, but on site it needs protection whilst maintaining functionality.

  10. I'm still using an iPhone 4s and I put its longevity down to the fact that I use an Otterbox case

  11. I've always used Otterbox, they are bombproof not overly bulky and protect the phone and screen brilliantly. Had one on every phone I've owned. Can't fault them.

  12. Had to retire a iPhone 4s from duty last week due to it’s battery life…..I’d buy an Otterbox purely on it’s brand name.

  13. Would it be worth getting a a new battery fitted? After all the phone should be OK.
