Ok so i'll admit I've cracked and have an order in, my 2019 V4R will be making way for it!
Going with the full Akra race kit of course.

Anyone else? What delivery dates have you got?
I'm currently on May but I'm really hoping that comes forward a bit!

  8. I cannot even begin to think what a rush you will get when you fully open the taps on this beast on track.

  12. If there's anyone who can justify and extract something like it's potential you'd be on my list, I'm sure it will be a revelation.

  13. The current v4r is really mega on track, unfortunately only been once with it around Donnington earlier this year :)

Wasn't going mad, I got a few sessions onto youtube :)

The bike ran perfect, everything stock with just a couple of tweaks to the suspension setup which is my fast road setup. If tracking i would have more rear ride height and have it a lot firmer setup.
Brakes where the only weak point as was getting a lot of lever travel under moderate use.

  14. I think I saw that from a post you did earlier in the year. Tying it up at Foggy S’s made me smile. I can only dream of being that fast and thats when I’m trying.
I do intend to take my s1000rr on the track next year as I’m keen to see how it compares to my GSXR 750 which is totally analog. I’m a little worried that I won’t look back though after enjoying the delights of a really modern bike on track. :joy:

  15. The V4 is surprisingly agile through Foggy's. Andy

  16. I had one on order, cancelled it and stuck with that decision, wasn't what I was expecting or what had been teased / leaked from the factory, putting the money into a car upgrade instead ... might upgrade the bike early next year for something less exotic but V4 flavoured ...

  17. I also have had one on order since aug 21.....It isn't what was leaked presumed and the delay of the release was obviously a change of spec with what appears to be just the engine upgrades, a lot of the spec that is already present in the base 22 model and a rushed through paint and sticker job that looks like its been done by a 4 year old....I cancelled too.

  18. I was the same as both of you! What helped change my mind was chatting to @nelly about the motor itself!
We have heard about the gun drilled rods etc but lots more detailed upgrades apparently.
I've just been wobbling at the £4k increase and the £7k race system

  20. If you have an order in and deposit paid you should pay the price at time if order. I had the same concern with my Bayliss that I ordered in Feb at £17995. The ticket price when I collected it in November was c£19500. I paid the price on my order. There was no discussion on the matter when it came to pay the balance, it was simply price as agreed.
Happy to share further details via PM if it helps you.
