What a great band and one of my many favourites from my younger punk rock days. RIP JB.

The Specials were a part of my musical growing up, we were not far away from Coventry & Birmingham which enjoyed much success in the early 80s

 

Yep me too & one of the great bands of their time too

 

Too much too young… probably… boom!

 

He was very versatile singer too. I often play his old stuff. RIP Terry and thanks.

 

Nooooo...not Terry. Soundtrack of my yoof. RIP you lovely man.

 

The Specials did more to integrate black and white youth than probably any other band ever.

 

And Martin Duffy too.

 

Terrible news. He was such a big part of my childhood.

 

Having grown up in 1970s Coventry, and knowing people who used to hang out with him outside the Parson's Nose chippy, and having written Ghost Town about my home town, he is a big loss.

Hope you find some peace now, Terry.

 

Only 63!!! Like most they were part of my youth soundtrack
