Why Not Technology Thread.

  1. Hand on heart, the only thing worse than a Ducati rear brake is an MV Agusta one, my F3, I used to blead it every other wash, so about every few hundred miles, and the brake would only last for about an hour, then by the time I bled it, generally it wouldn't even be able to hold the bike on a slight incline.

  5. All of this technology (except perhaps belt drive)will add weight and complexity for what end? I ride a bike for the feeling and attachment. Auto and air suspension will detract from that. Quite happy to have stuff like that in a car though, but that leads to a Fiesta weighing about 1300kg when it used to weigh around 800kg. Admittedly a bit of that is crash protection.
    As for a belt, chains I use do 10s of thousands of miles with no adjustment between tyre changes and the occasional spray with lubricant. Why change it if it isn't broken?
     
  6. Plus ,belts look a bit pants , Harleys have belts but a Panigale ?
