I've noticed in recent times folk speaking about longterm motorcycle ownership, with some new straightout of the factory wrapper or the second on the v5 document, what's your story, tell us with a photograph etc. Mine's this Buell from April 2002, this picture was taken ten years ago so a few battle scars on the way.
Smart move, that must be the first MV bike bag carrying your deodorant around with you........just incase.
A gsxr1000 k9 I’ve owned from new and will never sell, i only buy bikes now and will never sell any of the 6 that I have.
The perfect vehicle & bags for attacking East Enders on the Belguim / France border cusp for that tobacco run.....probably not based there anymore after the father and son had a run in.
48 years My brother in law bought 2 and built one from the 2. I gave him a fiver which was a lot back then for the parts. I ran it for a whiles then stuck it in the back of the shed He kept trying to buy it back from me because what he sold me was a Lady Dax which for some reason now is worth more than a standard Dax. A few years ago I decided too sort it and get it on the road I fitted a Daytona 150 engine in it now it goes like s**t of a stick
Been driving VW's and Audi's since I started driving 50+ years ago It's a fuel tank off a generator till I get round to making something more visually pleasing ( can't spell aesthetically )
They were a quality small manufacturer. The pre war 600s and 1000s are particularly nice. Worth noting that in 1929 they had JAP make a 1000cc OHC engine exclusively for them. The resulting bike was capable of 195 km/h. Mine is a humble 200 two stroke but has some nice features like the gear indicator.
