New multi owner questions

  2. 5. Are there any mods that can be made/bought to put a little bracket or similar on side stand to make it easier to get boot toe on it and put it down as I find it a little tricky to get down as my foot hits the left foot rest and makes it a little faffy to push all the way

    I had the same problem (short legs)!

    I knocked this up from bits in the garage. Its a bolt screwed into the sidestand with a bit of tube and trim to make it look better! Works really well, and you can hardly notice it, almost looks like it should be there IMHO

    Much easier to get the stand down, especially in the wet!!

  5. That stuff looks great, I have this down as a cheapo option, nowhere near as hard wearing (sidestand looks like it will tear the foam) but very soft and nice to work on. (why are my photos always sideways??!)

  7. same here. I look at a random post about new multi owner and it turns into an idea about re-doing my garage...excellent floor tiles idea. bugs
