a nearby blocked ditch has meant garden flooding further upstream so spent a good half hour digging silt out, but "tip of the iceberg" stuff really - it hasn't been done for over 10 years apparently.
Well so far I have spent Christmas day like I have the last several days coughing my lungs up and feeling like crap! All plans cancelled for the holiday season and definitely avoiding contact with elderly relatives to avoid giving them this nasty shit! At some point I may have to get out of the bath to pop some more paracetamol! Hoho fecking ho!

Right now sat here enjoying hot bovril and toblerone getting ready for the 4 miles back home and 1000ft descent.
Fitted the heated grips I picked up on eBay prior to Christmas, should help on cold spring mornings and summer evenings! I do love this bike!!
