Evening. Owner of a 2017 xdiavel dark since august this year and looking to modify as a riding project. Any one out there uk wise have any recommendations for exhausts, mapping, spares and custom parts ? I’ve been told a second hand Akra will not work if it’s already been fitted and mapped to another bike, is this true? Prices of new Akras are crazy, any other recommendations? Thanks All.
The exhaust is not mapped to the bike the bike’s ecu is mapped to the exhaust. I would have thought you can get any exhaust you want that physically fits and then the best solution would be to take the finished project (you may be changing air intake/filters as well) to a dyno where it can be tuned and set up specifically for all the modifications you’ve done.
