  1. I was fortunate to have the loan of a Santa Monica for a couple of weeks back in late eighties. Loved it.

  2. how did you find a photo of wheel balance weights on airbox - just curious

  3. It was a random photo and I just remembered it.

  6. I thought you all would be interested in adding this one to your Ducati collection and that screen must be a very very very rare barn find.

  7. That 851 is probably still a good buy for your pension fund.

  8. What on earth is “mild recommissioning” ? Is that a euphemism for needs a lot of money throwing at it and time spent searching for unobtainium ? Andy

  9. Lovely but i reckon depends when you want your pension. I'm still convinced there will be nobody around who wants them in 10+ years

  13. Part of me hopes your right Faser.
I'll be coming up retirement age in 10yrs ++ and I've a list of bikes I'd love to ride before hanging my lid up.

  14. Not sure I agree with your timescale. There's a lot of people just don't want an EV, two wheels or four - I'm one of them. Also, I'm really not convinced that EVs are the future - not enough lithium, how do you dispose of batteries etc etc. And anyway, sale of new petrol/diesel cars won't be banned until 2030 at the earliest (and I bet that date slips) so fuel will be around for a good few years after that. So I reckon you're being a bit pessimistic. I hope!
