Hi, I have various 748/916 track and standard spares for sale. Several years ago I bought a road going 853 road bike with the intention of building a track bike. I had the engine quickly checked over at my local Ducati dealer who said on first glance the engine was good so I started the project. I saved the original frame and bought a blank frame which I had powder coated black, fitted 999r forks, yokes, radial calipers and 15mm offset discs, basically a complete new front end. The rear has an Ohilns shock, lightweight sub frame, carbon undertray, black swinging arm. Also has carbon clock mount, termi exhausts. Everything was just about ready for the track so I sent it back the the garage for one last check over and despite not using the engine, the garage says the pistons are scored so too costly to repair and I've decided not to continue with this project. So basically I either have a complete rolling chassis, or lots of bits to sell if anyone is after anything. I do have some magnesium wheels, standard 3 spoke wheels, road reg frame, standard bodywork (not sure of the condition, might be a few marks) forks, headlight, all the standard bits off a road bike. (It was orginally a 1997 748) I can send photos of some of the standard bits straightaway, but the main bike is still with the Ducati garage waiting to be returned (with the engine in pieces). Hi, At the moment I have someone interested in the complete project which is basically a lot of the non-standard parts, but nothing is confirmed as yet. I sold the original body work, frame and sub frame but have lots of the other standard bits (forks, yokes, under tray, indicators, foot pegs etc) still available.
