Hi, looking to sell my 2016 Ducati 959 fitted with Akra pipes @Ducbird there is a brown wheelie bin just behind the gate post! First registered : 23.01.16, 3 former keepers Service history as follows: (All by Riders of Bristol) Service Stamp 1, 20.01.16 at 650 miles Service Stamp 2, 18.10.16 at 673 miles Service Stamp 3, 06.01.18 at 957 miles Service Stamp 4, 25.01.20 at 1,358 miles Service Stamp 5, 09.05.22 at 1,546 miles MOT until 08.05.23 I fitted dark screen, optimate charging lead (kept on trickle charge all year round), Ducati OEM seat cowl, fresh paint applied by Racepaint in Nottingham last year including number boards to all panels except tank (was going to be a job for this year but needs must), there were a couple of stone chips to the nose cone and underbelly which were driving me nuts hence the reason for the paint (cost £1K overall) Happy to talk through details please shoot me a PM, I'm looking to hang up my sports bike spurs to do some European travel now that we're all free to roam again. Looking to achieve as near as I can to £10,000 on the forum before I deal with the eBayers, appreciate it's a difficult time of year to sell just the other side of Christmas and biking a mere distant memory until the mercury climbs higher!
Lovely low mileage example! you might be going up against the akra under belly versions at 10k (appreciate the recent paint job). Glws
Ah I know. Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful bike in lovely condition and really well looked after. It more me. If I was spending 10k, I think I'd stretch another 5 or 6 for a V4. To be honest, I only commute, and whilst I very nearly bought a V4S when they first came out, it was just impractical. I'm looking for something big and slow and reliable now. I was tempted by a. Livewire, but I'd end up halfway up a tree I reckon.
Lovely bike. GLWS. For comparison purposes, I sold my ‘65 plate with 16k miles and an underbelly pipe from a 1299 for £8k last summer. I hope that helps if you get bids. Condition and mileage will hopefully keep you close to your price.
@bigjimmyb Thanks for taking the time to write, I didn't think I was a million miles away but it's not a good time of year, household budgets squeezed etc. Good to have a forum member's opinion all the same. Thank you.
Haven't you just talked yourself into buying my lovely 959? Gorgeous looks, practical performance save £5-£6K! (Just sayin')
Congratulations At this time of year and in this economic climate that’s a really quick sale! I just realised that it has only done 1650 miles but has had 5 services! Man that’s a lot of oil and filters to go through for such a short distance - bikes are weird!
