Great result on the bike. The "Quiet" response. They are the worst, you KNOW you are in trouble then.
Quiet is indeed the worse in my experience - there's no sign of the end when it's the quiet stage! Angry and shouting, not ideal, but generally settles to a peace in due course. Quiet - good luck! Welcome to the forum too by the way! Alternatively you could just work on the logic of you're in the brown stuff anyway, make the most of it as it's only the depth that will vary. Anything else you 'need' to buy that will cause family disharmony? Do it now... (I'm divorced by the way so probably not best qualified to give advice on matters of the fair sex!)
Well I went to pickup the bike today as the weather gave a little glimmer of hope. All ok until I got to Stow and then it was large puddles of standing water and wind. So it remained where it was. Got to see it again, sign some paperwork and pickup the keys, only to find out when I got back the MOT is still showing as July so that needs doing anyway.... So keys need to go back to the dealership. (steering locks not on so they can move it without them) Still can't get over the sound it makes with a stock exhaust!
Tip for buying motorbikes if you’re married: 1. say it’s an investment for your kids/grandkids. 2. if that doesn’t work just make sure it’s the same colour as the old one. She won’t notice.
