  1. I'm listening to GBNews and they're debating Clarkson's latest apology, he's been a TV entertainer for how many decades shooting from the hip with his unique style, with 20,000 odd complaints against his comments made, there must be 2,000,000 plus, plus voting for him in my opinion.
People need to grow a thicker skin in this shit PC world.

  3. Renewed my van insurance £270 for 3 people fully comp and now pothole/road tax next £290, cheaper to Insure a van.

  4. Samuel Pepys strikes again.:upyeah:

  5. Mine van's based at that price as well, also the Landrover, but in April time another £10.00 on top or perhaps they'll really put the boot in for us to buy overpriced electric cars.

  6. I would sooner cycle to work then get an electric car but maybe an electric bicycle :D as for an electric van :poop:

  8. Too right. I thought his comments were quite funny tbh, ones that more people will agree with, than not.

  9. Agreed 100 %. People need to grow up. If you don't like it, don't watch or listen. Simple. No need to be offended, just switch off and enjoy life in your warm cotton wool lined box. The whole PC, snowflake, woke, me too movement should find something to keep them busy enough to stop whining.

    I'll get my coat ...

  11. I’m in Seville with my wife and we went to see a flamenco show in Triana, the home of flamenco so I’m told. It was absolutely amazing. I was completely blown away by it.

  16. I agree. I think he’s a complete dick but that doesn’t make him wrong. He is very easy to avoid but a lot of people, with minds even narrower than his, go out their way to find things to be offended by.

  18. and even if someday the running costs and "refuelling "become equivalent to what we've got now, how is the driver supposed to warm himself in the cold weather without eating massively into stored energy? putting a transparent cocoon around driver comes to mind and would help, but far too eccentric for Joe average.

  19. Don't knock it until you've tried it guys! I'm been driving an electric car for the past 18 months and it's a game a changer. I have a charger fitted at home and an average charge costs me £10.58, and charge it about 5 times a month. A full charge is good for 180+ miles. I also have a charge card with I pay £3.98 a month for so when I use the of the many public charging points, it's free. With regards to staying warm, all EV's are fitted with an auxiliary battery to power all the normal electrics in your car, so in these very cold conditions, well with the use of an App, I start the heating/defrosting 10 minutes before departure, and get into a warm car and go. When your sitting stationary again with the heating etc on, it doesn't effect the main battery a great deal., and obviously it's not spewing diesel or petrol fumes into the air. With regards to van, there are a lot electric vans here in N.I, buses too, so as I said, don't knock until you've tried it. :)
