I see a lot of fluid leakage on that engine unit, being a smaller engine, the road fund licence and insurance must be cheap too.

 

Always liked the original white & red. Rode one when first came out, was a rocketship compared to the 1990 gsxr750L I had a time.

 

I'd the 1999 / T plated one in blue, it was a one owner machine and just perfect in every department, perhaps bordering on boring compared to soul food like the Ducati brand.

That's amazing how the twin headstock tubes have been torn apart from the welds, Chinese metal or just a very thin walled tubing used for manufacturing.

 

Catastrophic failure as the result of a major front end collision is my guess. Andy
