  1. I checked yesterday and it was taken off ebay so i assumed it had sold.

  3. If he's avoided ebay fees by doing so, then i'm very happy for him, especially as i didn't have a good experience with them in recent times.

  5. Seems he has avoided the fees as it has sold again or might reappear sometime soon,
    Anyone on here bought it?

    That one was my dad’s jet on 27sqn (Maritime Reconnaissance before it was modded as a tanker).
    For info in the RAF back then the jet was lent to the Aircrew but the Chief Tech was regarded as actually owning it!

  20. Sadly don’t have any! Plenty of my dad playing rugby but none of the Jet ✈️
    We never realised at the time that it would become the famous last flying Vulcan!
    Needless to say I helped support the return the flight and her years flying the second time round with the Vulcan to the Sky Trust!
    Certainly saw her flying in 27 Sqn marking back when I was a small boy as RAF Scampton (yep I am that old)!
